Granada to Jaén for the afternoon/evening

Not really feeling like working today, so I’m heading to Jaén. For most, this is a no-name town in the middle of Andalucia…but interestingly this is where the Nasrid dynasty (which was to rule and beautify Granada for 250 years) was based and began their “da’wa”. In the past, it was a major city and the heart of an Islamic kingdom…today it has village/small-town status (as with most of the former great places in Andalucia). Looks to be a fun trip!

  1. This blog wouldn’t be interesting if you didn’t know freaking everything about everything.

Hope you’re having fun, dude. It sounds amazing over there.
