Arabic Coinage of King Offa (r. 757-796)

Coinage from England during the reign of King Offa (r. 757-796) with Arabic/Islamic inscriptions reading “La illaha illallah wahdahu, la sharikah lahu” (“There is no God but God Alone, He has no partner”). Quite fascinating.
